Ship operators are only too familiar with Port State Control Inspections and Vetting Inspections. These are essential in maintaining safety at sea. Inspectors will routinely scrutinise a ship’s stock of charts and publications. It makes sense to adopt systems and procedures to minimise the risk of observations or detention. Our Folio Management processes have been carefully developed over many years to help you and your fleet to keep up-to-date.
Our Standard Folio Management service starts with a detailed inventory of charts and publications, including the current edition you hold on board. Once you’ve supplied us with this information, we’ll enter the details into a database specific to each of your vessels.
On a monthly basis – or more frequently if required – our systems will generate a list of new editions available.
On request, we can provide you with a quotation for your approval before anything is sent.
Companies that join our Folio Management programme are assigned a dedicated Folio Manager. Following up orders, answering queries, familiar with your company’s working processes, Your Folio Manager is there to ensure you receive the highest level of personal service.
